Julie is a Dermatology Lecturer Practitioner; with 30 years’ experience as a dermatology clinical nurse specialist, in primary and secondary care. Julie works for skin support groups, including the National Eczema Society complex helpline. Julie is a health care writer and past editor of the BDNG Journal, Dermatological Nursing. She is a PCDS committee member, teaching HCPs and working on service development projects UK-wide. She works clinically at SkinHealthUK in skin cancer detection clinics. Julie is passionate about improving care for people with skin conditions through developing educational initiatives for both healthcare professionals and patients throughout the UK.

She is a qualified lymphoedema nurse and has combined the 2 specialist roles for the past 20 years. She has worked for the FHSA developing general practice services and prior to this was a District nurse . Julie is a trainer for the lymphoedema training academy and also a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University, teaching on the leg ulcer management degree module and the Masters degree . She is currently working as a Director of nursing as part of the Pioneer wound healing and lymphoedema centres team.

Dr George Kassianos has been the National Immunisation Lead for the RCGP since 1996. He is President of the British Global & Travel Health Association and Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine RCPS Glasgow and The International Society of Travel Medicine. He chairs the Pan- European Group on influenza RAISE (Raise Awareness of Influenza Strategies in Europe – 20 European countries and Israel) and is Board Member of the European Working Group on Influenza (ESWI). In 2021, Her Majesty the Queen awarded Dr Kassianos the CBE (Commander of the British Empire) for services to Primary Care and Travel medicine.

Tootie is the Chief Nurse at the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) and Director for Nursing & Midwifery at Southeast GMSA. She completed her PhD at King’s College London as an NIHR/HEE Clinical Doctoral Fellow, and her research and clinical interests are in inherited cardiac conditions. Tootie is a member of the CNO England’s council on shared professional decision making for research and an alumnus of the NIHR70@70 Nurse Research Leadership Programme. She is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing and a Trustee at Cardiomyopathy UK. Tootie is the Nurse Representative on the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions Council and a past President for the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care and was the inaugural Chair of the Research Forum. She is a founding member of the Filipino Senior Nurses Alliance.

Debbie is the Editor-in-chief for the Practice Nursing Journal, raising the profile of general practice nurses. Receiving the CNO Gold award and MBE for services to nursing.

With over 25 years of experience in clinical NHS practice, education, and private sectors, Tahira has collaborated with esteemed organisations like Diabetes UK, British Heart Foundation, and the British Dietetic Association. She has authored numerous publications addressing diabetes care, obesity, weight management, and global health.

Flora is founder, lead nurse and service manager of Bridge@Southwark. She is a practice nurse with a special interest in transgender healthcare. She is the driving force behind the Bridge@Southwark, London’s first transgender primary care service. The Bridge offers both routine primary care services and some transition related care, such as bridging hormone prescriptions. From her work with The Bridge, Flora has since been asked speak at Parliament, educating MPs on trans healthcare and what service delivery, speak at numerous panels and conferences, and has written 2 articles which are awaiting publishing.

She leads on training and education at a regional training hub and for the last year leads on training and development as the Director of General Practice Nursing for SEL training hub. As a qualified personal training Rebecca is a keen runner and cyclist, and always ready to support staff and patients making the right healthier lifestyle choices.

Dr Howell obtained a B.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences in 1989 from University of Nottingham and in 1995 graduated with a PhD from the University of Brighton. She worked as a researcher at the University of Brighton for 15 years where she discovered her interest in medical adsorbents. Whilst working at the University she was able to fulfil her love of both research and teaching and achieved a Higher Education Authority Associate Fellowship in 2016. Carol joined Enteromed Ltd in 2017 as their Research Director and is currently responsible for providing medical expertise and overseeing clinical trials for the company.
Caroline Cooper

Caroline trained in general practice, and worked in a community clinic in Cambridge, providing integrated contraception and sexual health services and a complex long acting reversible contraception (LARC) referral service. She has now returned to general practice providing a much needed LARC service post Covid.
Caroline is a fellow of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health, and is on the executive board of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum with responsibility for education. She is the programme director for Bayer Pharma’s intrauterine contraception training programme which offers training to health care professionals across the UK. She also provides education on communication skills to medical students at the university of Cambridge.
