Tootie is the Chief Nurse at the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) and Director for Nursing & Midwifery at Southeast GMSA. She completed her PhD at King’s College London as an NIHR/HEE Clinical Doctoral Fellow, and her research and clinical interests are in inherited cardiac conditions. Tootie is a member of the CNO England’s council on shared professional decision making for research and an alumnus of the NIHR70@70 Nurse Research Leadership Programme. She is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing and a Trustee at Cardiomyopathy UK. Tootie is the Nurse Representative on the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions Council and a past President for the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care and was the inaugural Chair of the Research Forum. She is a founding member of the Filipino Senior Nurses Alliance.
